As LUCK would have it, my elk season lasted literally about 5 minutes. We spotted two 6 points coming across the flats headed for the mountains. We cut them off and as they came around the bend we had two shots at 454 yards (per the range finder) and two 6 point bulls down.
Was hunting with Island Safaris (Cog Pelley) in Springdale, Newfoundland. I was using a 280AI with your 150 gr. Scirocco II bullet. Shot was made at 100 yards and had a complete pass thru. He only went 20 yards before piling up in the brush. Great bullet and I love them!
I have finally been able to recover one of your bullets on a warthog I shot at 172 meters. It was shot out of my 7mm Rem Mag. The bullet had exceptional expansion with minimal weight loss and delivered a quick effective kill on the target.
