Eight trophies all one shot except one waterbuck. The first shot was adequate, but we did not want him to run. Range was 80 yds to 200 yds. Recovered 2 bullets - others passed thru.
Results... Incredible! I shot a gemsbok at 41 yards. They are notoriously tough, and my guides were leery of such a light caliber with a hollow point. Entrance on the bull was at the fold of the shoulder. The bullet penetrated the rib, lungs, heart and offside rib and came to rest in the skin.
