I made a 275 yard shot on a big cow elk with the 150 grain Scirocco 2 with my 300 win mag. Went thru the close shoulder dropped the elk in its tracks. No exit wound but did a great job. Very accurate at the rifle range too. (Posted on 11/30/11)

Big Mt Muley. Broadside. Broken ribs and shoulder. Bullet recovered against hide on off shoulder. 95% weight retention. Buck went 10yds. Demolished the heart, lungs and part of the liver.
Being able to drop a 300+lb mule deer without trailing is always a plus in high mountain terrain. (Posted on 2/25/11)

Decided to try some of these and took two whitetail bucks both at 400+ yards, the best part was my 14 year old son made one of the shots.
They were one shot dropped in their tracks shots, I did however make one mistake after buying these bullets, I forgot to have my son re sight in his rifle and since these rounds drop so much less than any other round I have used when he made his shot I told him to hold a couple inches below its back, he did and the round snapped the deers spine.... needless to say we went and re sighted in his gun...
