Happy with results. Review by Eagleye
I took a very nice muley buck last fall with the Scirocco II 90 grain 6mm out of an ultralight custom 6mmBR.
I start this bullet at just over 3000 with Varget.
The shot was a lasered 340 yards, and at the shot, he just folded right there!
Excellent performance and complete penetration. Plenty of lung damage.
Couldn't wish for any more. (Posted on 4/2/12)
excellent Review by brian
My wife shoots this bullet in the Remington .243 premium factory load in a 70s vintage Browning Safari. Minute of angle accuracy, 85-90% weight retention on 140-160 lb whitetail bucks (dressed) at 40-175 yards, with classic expansion. (Posted on 7/17/11)
Excellent product Review by Johnny
I hand load the 90 grain for white tail and mule deer, excellent on white tails but a little on the mules. Is there a chance you will be putting out a 100 grain for the .243 cal for 2011? (Posted on 9/27/10)
Very well made Review by John N
While very accurate and the best on the market I would like it heavier. I live in Alberta Canada and I have taken a lot of white-tails and mule deer with it I wish it was a 100 grain bullet. That is the only complaint I have. The last deer I took with the 90 grain was a 9 point white-tail at about 180 yards.Went through both lungs, it runned about 20 yards before dropping. Best Ballistics for Deer and Antelope out to 300+yards Review by cliff
While I mostly inflict wounds on paper at 200 yards, a muzzle velocity of 3225 fps allows supreme accuracy with these spectacular bullets. The ninety grain Scirocco II has no peer to date. Scirocco Bonding and Accuracy leave all other bullets I've experimented with far back in the dust. My powder, you may ask, is Hodgdon H4350. Primers are CCI 250 Magnum. Accuracy is under 1 M.O.A. at 100 yards, at 200 yards: 1.5 M.O.A. Scope is a 4.5-14 x 40mm Nikon Buckmaster. I shoot 200 yards at 14 power generally. Rifle is a Remington Model 700 CDL with a Rifle Basix trigger set at a crisp 2.5 pounds. There are .24 caliber bullets, then there are Swift Scirocco IIs. Try them; you'll adopt them as your favorite. cliffy (Posted on 9/28/09)
excellent resuts Review by Tunanut
I loaded a hundred of these for my 243AI. I found that 45g of 414 gave me less than 2" groups @ 400yrds out of my Hart 10 twist. I've take 2 coyotes and 3 whitetails out to 280 yrds. No tracking involved. I'm confident this bullet is going to hit where I'm aiming every time. (Posted on 12/20/08)
